After connecting through social media, Dara, a Registered Yoga Teacher 200 in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area (ig: @vinyasawithdara), together with sj, a soon-to-be RYT 200 in Buffalo, NY  (ig: @galacticenergymining) recognized a need for a geographic-based directory of Black Yoga Teachers (BYT).

 

Help us help the Black community-at-large! By creating the BYT Directory, we get to increase the likelihood that Black people of all backgrounds have access to yogic resources, led by individuals who look like them and are right in their neighborhood!
